![]() Im not sure first why my setup isnt working, and second why it would ever depend on which files I have open at the time in VS Code. Make sure that, from Visual Studio, you right click on the source code and choose to run the page in a browser. Step 4: To update VS Code, open VS Code and click on Settings which is at the bottom left corner of the VS Code. There is nothing in your code that would indicate an issue, other than it is possible that the file open in your browser is NOT the file you are editing in Visual Studio. Step 3: Check if the IntelliSense works, if not update the VS Code. Step 2: Click on the Power button and click on the Restart option. I only get intellisense for the class if I have Class.es6 open in VS Code. Step 1: Restart your system by clicking on the start button at the bottom left corner. For example, say Class.es6 defines a class. then I opened a dotnet react project (dotnet new react) with visual studio for mac, and it did not have intelligence, (which visual studio code does). This also happens with global variables created in other javascript files. The thing that worked for me was replacing the web.config in the "Views" folder with the following, since the NuGet package left that web.config with many MVC 4.0 references. then visual studio code had jquery intellisense in. I was experiencing this in Visual Studio 2013 after upgrading the project to MVC 5.2.3. Use command line package restore manually when you occasionally require it via. ![]()
